Hi I'm glad you made it.

​Lavacat started in 2011 when I was on a plane with one of my friends

and I was trying to make him laugh.

​

Cats were one of the only things I could draw back then so I made comics about a sweet cat who accidentally kept killing people because he was imbued with the power of lava.

​

Lavacat was funny to us because he tried his best but often failed catastrophically. Yet he stayed positive! Because of that people didn't stop liking him - even with his failures.

​

It wasn't long before I realized Lavacat and I shared a lot of qualities and that I was writing myself into the comics🤔. But of course there were certain things that I wanted to comic about that didn't "fit" Lavacat's personality. He transcends human-ness.

​

So I started a meta-comic to accompany LC and called it "Fish have Feelings." I'm still not sure if I will stick with this name. One of my friends mistakenly called it "Fish Flakes" and I kinda liked it.

​

There's not too many "Lavacat" episodes on my site right now :( because, to be honest, I haven't been inspired to make any stories about him. But I know that you love him so I will do my best to force inspiration! 

​

In "Fish Flakes" I try to draw about relatable topics, using my life as the sounding board.

Relatable as in embarrassing, stupid, menial, boring, fleeting, or trivial - stuff nobody wants to expose about themselves to the world.

​

But I want to. If it makes you laugh. I'll do anything to make you laugh. I'm a prostitute of comedy.
